Mary and her second husband, Mark, have been married for eight years. They built their home on Matt Drive in North Bennington. seven years ago. Mary has a son, Philip, from her first marriage

Mary's passions are gardening and running. She is starting to get into Yoga. She was an avid reader and is starting again, enjoying histories.

Mary joined Rotary because she wanted to be involved in the town that she considers the best in the country. Her primary goal is to get to know who is who and what are the issues and what are the needs and what can be done to help people.

Although Mary feels you shouldn't bite off more than you can chew, she has many good ideas for service above self in terms of both the young and older people. We look forward to working with her on some of these ideas.

She is the manager of Watson House since March. It is a sixteen bed community care home. They provide assisted living. They take care of the whole person, helping with medication, personal care, medical appointments, meals, laundry and everything necessary for the well-being of the residents. They also have as much fun as they can.

Lynne has been working with seniors since 1996. She worked in supportive housing in Massachusetts. When she started working with the elderly and disabled, she fell in love with the work. She was a resident service coordinator for years and received much of her training while working in this position. She worked on obtaining the community resources that were available for low income seniors.

Lynne comes to the Bennington Rotary with ten years of experience in Rotary. She was President of her club in Redding, Massachusetts in 2007-08. When she first moved to Bennington, her employer did not support Rotary at all so that she could not join. However, her current employer does and she is glad to be a part of the club. Victor moved to Vermont for the snow. He has been skiing at Mount Snow since it opened. Victor is a collector. Victor says the difference between a collector and a hoarder is that a collector has places in which to keep his collections.

His collections include cars, motorcycles, boats, four-wheelers, bicycles, clocks, paintings, furniture and many other objects. Once while driving one of his old cars in Bennington, he saw a sign for the Car Show. When he drove in, they had him exhibit his car in the show.

Victor joined Rotary because he likes Bennington and wants to help the community when and how he can. He feels that he has been very lucky in his life and wants to share that with others.
