Vocational Service

Vocational Service is the second Avenue of Service, promotes high ethical standards in businesses and professions, recognizes the worthiness of all dignified occupations, and fosters the ideal of service in the pursuit of all vocations. The role of members includes conducting themselves and their businesses in accordance with Rotary's principles.

The Vocational Committee screens applicants for a vocational scholarship.

Scholarship

Scholarship Committee

The Scholarship Committee screens applicants for educational aid, select recipients, and monitor the utilization of the scholarship. Bennington Rotary awards (7) $1000.00 scholarships each year, one in the name of Sal Sancartangelo to an interact student. One for a technical program or trade school. This years applications will be in the guidance office in March. We give $500 at the beginning of the semester and the next $500 in January, when the student sends the Rotary Club a progress report and request for the second disbursement.

Interact Committee

The Interact Committee acts as an advisor/mentor to the interact club at Mount Anthony Union High School.

Student Achievement Committee

The Student Achievement Committee select recipients who have outstanding academic grades and performance in the local elementary schools.

4 Way Test Speech Contest Committee

The 4 Way Test Speech Committee runs the contest every year, with the local schools.
