The Community Fundraising Committee comes up with fundraising ideas for the betterment of the community.

Spaghetti Supper Committee

Spaghetti Supper Committee

The Spaghetti Supper Committee runs this popular local fundraiser. Every year the Bennington Rotary Club selects "a cause" or charity that they would like to raise money for and hold a Spaghetti Supper for the community. This is a very successful event and we really appreciate the community participation that make this event great.

Bell Ringing

Bell Ringing Committee

The Bell Ringing Committee is responsible for running the Bell Ringing Schedule in cooperation with CVPS of Vermont. All funds raised during this fundraiser, usually held from Thanksgiving until Christmas are matched by CVPS - and the money stays local. This money is used to purchase home heating fuel for low income residents.

Car Show Committee

Car Show Committee

The Car Show Planning Committee runs this popular fundraiser. Every year the Bennington Rotary Club, The Green Mountain Car Club, The Chamber of Commerce, and the Catamount Rotary Club join forces to pull of this amazing event. This is a very successful event and we really appreciate the community participation that make this event great.

Spirit of Sharing

Spirit of Sharing Planning Committee

The Spirit of Sharing is a Bennington-area program that collects toys, food and cash donations for needy families during the holidays. Names are collected by staff members of the Vermont Agency of Human Services and toys are contributed by a number of community groups, students, businesses and organizations. Area businesses also donate food for Holiday food baskets.
